For no good reason whatsoever, my friend Carl and I made up our own lyrics to this song. It was the epic tale of a short-order cook, called “Learning to Fry.” I was 16 and easily amused… Now I’m 32 and easily amused.

Johnny Depp was in the video for “Into the Great Wide Open,” from the same album.

That’s the kind of silliness that you do when you’re sixteen, or thirty-two. Thanks for the confirmed Johnny Depp sighting – I knew I wasn’t going crazy.
