A busy road near my workplace was closed off this afternoon by the police; I assumed that it was connected to the local carnival, which was taking place in the area, but I later discovered that there was an accident further up the road involving a motorbike and a car. As I walked to the station I saw the remnants of the vehicles: the toppled black bike smashed against the blue/green car. The bike rider and car occupant(s) were absent. I hope they’re all okay.
