My first week of part-time working went well.

I went into work on Monday, and confronted my colleague. I told her that I was not happy with her rifling through my drawers and my pigeonhole. She apologised and said that she had control issues (really? you don’t say!). She promised to leave my stuff alone from now on. We’ll see how long she can resist the temptation…

My days off on Wednesday and Thursday were leisurely, as you can probably deduce from my previous post.

I really have to get into a routine of getting up at a normal hour; at the moment my waking hours are 1pm-3am. If I wasn’t having to wake up at 7:30am three times a week it wouldn’t be a problem. I’m like a zombie if I don’t get my ugly nap.

There are loads of new series on telly now, it’s almost like the tv companies don’t want me to do anything but watch tv. I’m watching Blind Justice right now, the lead actor is so cute. Other shows that are on my to-view list: Intelligence, Jericho, Nip/Tuck, Grey’s Anatomy, the OC…

I ordered loads of clothes online from Next and Additions, which arrived today. I thought I’d pamper myself with some lingerie and nightclothes, so what if no-one else is going to see it? As my French friend told me, I should wear nice things for myself, not for anyone else.

    Your French friend is absolutely right - looking good for yourself will make you feel like a million dollars!
