I’m not loving this one, guys. Funny cos I love each of these artists, but the song isn’t about anything really. 4 minutes to save the world from what? These guys are only saving me from buying this single.
It’s catchy and all, but I’m not feeling the faux-brass riff going on in the background, and the video is a bit disturbing with all those yucky flesh cutouts. That snog was nasty!
Madonna looks amazing though, some are saying that she was airbrushed, but I don’t know… professional makeup can hide anything…

I love the fact that she’s about twice Justin’s age, but can still break him in half, and go after Timbaland too. Otherwise, the song/video didn’t do much for me.

What was that CGI black wall behind them? Was it “the nothing” from the neverending story?
I’m going to have to agree, this song has some bad brass stuff in it. Why not hire some real brass players to play in the song? those riffs are too loud. But I have to say that I’m happy Madonna is trying different stuff away from the heavy techno beats she did in the 90s. It’s about time.

On SNL they did a joke about poor old Madge — Madonna was quoted in Vanity Fair as saying that New York isn’t crackling with the synergy it had in the 80s. New York responded with “Right back at ya”.
Made me laugh!
The actual quote she gave was: “It’s not the exciting place it used to be. It still has great energy; I still put my finger in the socket. But it doesn’t feel alive, cracking with that synergy between the art world and music world and fashion world that was happening in the 80s. A lot of people died.”
