Gimme Less for Now
Saturday, October 6th, 2007I don’t think that this video is all that bad really, though maybe I’m rather impartial as I’ve always liked Britney as a brunette. The only problem with it is that people will always link the song to her lacklustre performance at the VMA’s last month.
Here’s my advice to Ms Spears as a long-time fan from way back when (I’ve got all her albums, which has got to count for something):
You’re talented, rich and gorgeous, but your life’s in a mess right now. Take a break and sort your life out. When you’re ready your fans will be around to support you.
I understand that you’re probably acting out now because you were set for stardom even as a child, but now is the time to think of your own children. Maybe therapy would be the answer. Think about it.
Take a break, then come back fighting.
UPDATE: Visit this post on perezhilton.com to hear another new Britney track called Radar. I think it’ll grow on me, but it sounds like the kind of song that Rihanna might do better.

Love the new look, but the page is taking awfully long to load. Of course, that might be because I’m probably the very last person on Earth who still has a dial-up Internet account, so disregard if no one else remarks on it.
Brittney will probably pay some high-priced therapist to tell her exactly what you, and many others, I’m sure, are telling her for nothing. She really needs to sort out her priorities and get herself together.
PJ, I’ve tagged you for a meme.

Very cool new look, PJ!
As for Britney, I think I have always managed to be just a wee bit too old to appreciate her… But yeah, therapy and Britney might be a good mix for a while. I feel sorry for her - too much pressure and mixed up values.

Hi Wordtryst, you may find that it’ll be faster loading next time as your computer will probably keep a copy of the artwork in its cache. Let me know if you’re still having problems with it. Thanks for the meme too, I haven’t ever done a book meme.
AV: thanks.
