I may end up rewatching the previous 10 episodes to remind myself of all the various plot threads, and to giggle at all the silly bits. I’m interested in seeing how the stories will unravel, and whether any of the essential questions will be answered by the end of this season.

I’m also interested in the show’s exploration of determinism vs free will, and the eternal question about whether knowing the future could cause it to happen (as in the myth of Oedipus). While several characters in the show have embraced their FlashForwards and are working towards making them come true, others have been resistant to their FFs, or concerned about not having one.

I don’t know about you, but I’d love to have a sneak peek into my life in 6 months time. I don’t even know what I’ll be doing this weekend.

I’ve got to share this video that someone made featuring the moment when Mark Benford finally admitted that he was drunk in his FlashForward. I love the look of disbelief on his boss’s face. The rest of the vid is okay, but I would have liked to add some of the other mental moments of the series so far, like Mark chasing after the guys in Halloween masks or the Blue hand death fest.

Wish I’d seen this version at the cinema instead. Hilarious.

Appearance:

– I’m 5ft5, so not far off. Sometimes I wish my hair was brown instead of black, but at the moment I’d like to have blue/black hair like a manga character. I tried a dye that was supposed to give me that colour, but it just turned my hair even blacker.

– The casino was in Madeira, and I went in there to change some money into Euros. I played Brutus in Julius Caesar at school. The prank was Knock Down Ginger (ringing someone’s doorbell then running away). I’ve met several guys from the internet over the years.

– I gave my mum the impression that I was in San Francisco, when I was on a 2 day stopover in New York. I nicked a drink from a shop, just to see if I could do it. Then I gave it to my mate cos I didn’t want it. I was in a couple of fights at school. A couple of times I’ve witnessed shoplifters grabbing stuff then running out of the shop. Me and a few friends got in trouble for writing notes about a teacher. Instead of a full suspension, we couldn’t go on an activities week and had to stay at school and do cleaning work.

Drugs/Alcohol:

68. Did you ever steal anything by mistake? Apparently I left a restaurant without paying by accident. I was a regular there and the next time I went there the guy told me what happened. I couldn’t believe it. I’m still wondering if I left the money on the table and someone else passed and nicked it before he came back. I offered to pay them back, but they said that it had been sorted.
69. Have you ever won anything? I’ve won an electric guitar and a couple of premium WordPress themes online.

Loving this parody of a scene from Dirty Dancing featuring Channing Tatum and Charlyne Yi. Yi is clearly no actress, but Tatum’s cheesy interpretation of Johnny Castle is totally adorable. Who hasn’t ‘balanced on sh*t’ at one time or another?

Maybe she’s just perpetually hungry; a Hollywood diet would do that to anyone.

The other day I was watching Jumper and recognised her in a brief scene near the end when Anakin Skywalker found his mother. She was skulking around the place for no particular reason, and gave him this wolfish look like she wanted to make a bracelet with his fingertips.

Anyway, talking about dangerous damsels and feckless villains, I had to laugh at this video of Buffy vs Edward Cullen. Could there be any doubt over who would win that battle? Never mind Buffy, Angel would make mincemeal of that glittery softie for embarrassing the entire vampire race.

Ely Kim is quite the dancehall king – check out this 9 minute video where he boogies to 100 fantastic tunes in a variety of interesting venues. I’m worn out just watching him, but I’d love to meet him on a dancefloor for the ultimate dance-off. Loving the variety of tops he’s wearing too.
