Comments on: New Moon /2009/11/new-moon/ The great paradox of the writer's life is how much time he spends alone trying to connect with other people. ~ Betsy Lerner Mon, 17 Jun 2013 19:04:44 +0000 hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.2.1 By: Rocky /2009/11/new-moon/comment-page-1/#comment-4625 Rocky Sun, 06 Dec 2009 03:51:10 +0000 /?p=1610#comment-4625 PJ, I just got back from watching the film. I thing you pegged it in your review. The cinematography was good, though, and those forests are some that I have walked in many times. Of all the coastlines I have been on around the works, the rugged coasts of Northern California, Oregon and Washington State are my favorite because of the redwood trees that run right down to the cliffs at the water's edge. I read Stephenie Meyers books and until the last one, I thought they were okay - not great - but with an interesting story. I will say that the casting for the movies is great, but the book was infinitely better because of the side and back story that the film had to gloss over. In the end, I would say that you got the star rating right on this one. Rocky PJ, I just got back from watching the film. I thing you pegged it in your review.
